First, thanks to Wendy for filling in as Interim President for Jeannie for a brief time.
We are proud to announce the new faces for 2008 of the Marching Marshals Alumni Association. The Marshall County High School Band, known as the Marching Marshals has been a staple in high school culture in Marshall County for thirty years. We are very proud to have formed an organization that will allow former members to get together, rekindle the passion for the organization, and work for the benefit of the current band and their new band director Mr. Bryan Ellis. We look forward to getting to know and working with him and also with Mr. Peyton in the coming years.
On March 24th and 25th 2006, we had our first band reunion. We were expecting it to be an extraordinary event...and it was! If only ten members attend from each class, that would mean over three hundred attending. If twenty attend from each class, six hundred attending and so on. So how did we do: There were over 500 at each nights events. The events were held at Marshall County High School. Our next reunion has been scheduled and will be April 2010 (more detail information soon).
